Business of defense a fat target for NC

As the Charlotte region looks to boost its defense sector, it is important to anticipate military needs, play up the area’s strengths and build on a long history of brain power and innovation, a panel of experts said Monday.

Representatives from local defense contractors and the N.C. Military Foundation, a group dedicated to ramping up the state’s defense economy, addressed a crowd of business leaders and elected officials at Johnson & Wales University. Full Article
