Military construction summit draws prospective businesses

GREENSBORO — Hundreds of businesses looking to land construction contracts with the U.S. military were on hand at the 2010 Military Construction Summit in Greensboro.

The U.S. military footprint in North Carolina is huge and with $7 billion in military construction contracts planned in the state through 2013, summit organizers hoped more homegrown businesses would ink deals to do the work.
